Welcome to Patternpatch. The place for Australian designed patchwork quilt patterns and stitchery patterns. We had a few problems with our previous web host and have decided on a whole new look somewhere else. Hope you like our new store.
Last update 28th July 2007
All our stock has now been added and there are limited quantities of our patterns. For the first time we are now stocking Blocks of the Month. If you are looking for the applique instructions hit the Applique button.
Before you visit the shop, please note that all prices are in Australian dollars. A quick example, as at 28th July 2007, $10.00 Australian is equivalent to $8.56 US. The exchange rate changes constantly, so use this link if you want to check an amount (opens in a new window)..
There is a lot of content still to be added which will happen gradually so remember to bookmark us and in the meantime keep reading to discover what we have and are planning to include on the site.
The applique section is being rearranged to allow better navigation, more space for new pages (reverse applique, needle turn applique) and the long promised new free pattern. Instructions for preparing blanket stitch applique are here...
I've been experimenting a little with crayons and watercolour pencils these are likely topics for more pages in the future.
Blocks of the month are available as pattern only either monthly or the full set(discounted of course). There are four currently offerred, Beyond the Garden Gate by Candlelight Creations, I Remember by Rosalie Quinlan, the original Leanne's House block of the month and Journey of a Quilter the new quilt from Leanne's House. We also have something a little different, the My Dolly club which runs over 6 months. Our Profiles page tells you a little about two of our designers, Colleen Archbold and Philippa Morris. Colleen has been designing her own patterns for over 8 years. Before that she took classes and learnt from books concentrating on quick piecing techniques and methods of applique. Initially her quilts were pieced but always traditional in style. Continued here...
